Land with a Past and Future
For the Kuryla family, it has always been about the land. Preserving the mature woods, taking advantage of the open space and remembering the past as we design for the future has always been a part of our vision.
Since 1959, the Kuryla family has farmed this property, tended livestock and made a life around raising horses for recreational enjoyment. Lynn Kuryla, who was also an amateur photographer, poignantly captured the essence of the land and their farm life during the sixties.
Many of these preserved slides have taken on a new life as the theme of art gracing the walls of Level One creating a warm inviting space for social gatherings.
